2007 Boushey Vineyard Syrah
There was a reason we pursued working with Syrah from Dick Boushey's vineyard for so many years, and that reason is what we have in bottle right now. 2007 gave us a chance to craft a wine that offers wonderful aromatics of smoke and spice with hints of bacon, blueberry and black pepper. The palate has an elegance and focus that has to be tasted to be believed. While it's tasting fabulous right now, I expect it to follow the ageing curve of our 2006 and will really start to shine in 6 months. That said, there's a lot of reasons to open this one now...

2006 Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Our 2006 Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend from three different vineyards coming off two appellations, all of which fall within the larger Columbia Valley AVA. This blend of sites allows us to tame the blazing heat of Red Mountain with the more even temperatures we see from the Horse Heaven Hills. The resulting wine has a powerful nose of cassis, fresh plum and minerals while the palate has the structure to age gracefully, but is also drinking well now. Recommended drinking window: 2008 ~ 2014

Aromatics
Deep casis, red and black currents, cedar and tobacco followed by a hint of black cherry.
Palate
Full-bodied, ripe and structured on the palate, with excellent depth of flavor and outstanding concentration.

2006 Syrah ~ Cabernet Sauvignon
Our 2006 red is a blend of 35% Syrah and 65% Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is always Cabernet Sauvignon dominant, but the addition of Syrah and or Merlot will change each year depending on the vintage and how our blending trials have gone. While we love Cabernet Sauvignon, we want this wine to have a slightly silkier and softer palate and be really ready to drink at release. There is great fruit aromatically and enough structure to match with most of what lands on your dinner plate.
AROMATICS
Rich red fruits on the nose, highlighted by a deepness from the Boushey Vineyard syrah. Pomegranate, black cherry and blueberries.
PALATE
Lush and silky with great length.

2008 Meadow Oregon White Wine
2008 represents our second vintage for MEADOW, our expansions into the vineyard of Oregon to explore its cooler climate and varied soils. The vineyards delivered slightly riper fruit than in 2007, but the flavors and balance were wonderful. This wine is again Pinot Blanc dominant with a splash of Pinot Gris, Riesling and Gewurztraminer to give the wine incredible aromatics. This all stainless steel fermented offering is sure to make you a fan.
Aromtics:
White flowers, Meyer lemon and a hint of mineral. If you liked the aromatics on the 2007 you'll be blown away by the 2008.
Palate:
Spicy, complex, with a hint of richness on the palate (without being sweet).
